Hinge Mounting Plate
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance.
Locate hinges and hinge mounting plates; there should be equal numbers of each. Ensure you have the correct hinges for the overlay indicated on the elevation.
Mount the plates on the partitions using the included screws in the location that corresponds with the hinge placement holes on the door.
If using metal doors, attach the hinge following manufacturer guidelines.
Mount the hinges on the doors.
For Element Aluminum frame doors, ensure you are including the decorative cups when mounting the hinges on the doors.
Install the door.
Flip-Up Doors Only: Install Lid Stay hardware
Adjust the hinges so the door is in-line with adjacent doors and drawers.
Install handle or knob. Refer to the decorative hardware guide for hardware specifications.
Test functionality.
