Main Menu

The Main Menu is in the upper left hand corner of the program. It is represented by a red 3D icon.

The “-” in the upper right will minimize or hide the CAD window. The middle icon will minimize or maximize the CAD window on the computer screen. The “X” will close the program.

The About icon will display program information, version number and copywrite information. The Job Manager will be explained in more detail later in this chapter.

ICONS

These icons are found in the Main Menu, as shown from top to bottom. Some of them have keyboard shortcuts to make them quicker to access.

	New Project	Create a brand new project. This will prompt the user to got through the customer details, setup wizard, etc.
	Open Project	Open an existing project. Will open as last saved.
	Save	Save all the designs in the project.
	Upload Template	After creating a template on a local PC, uploads to the cloud so it can be shared by other users in the same location. This may only be available on certain license types.
	New Design Ctrl + N	Create a new design (space) in the project.
	Import Design Ctrl + I	Import a design from another project file.
	Export	Export a design using the drop down options. Export to a .zip to share/upload, or for manufacturing (may only be available on certain license types).
	Print	Drop down to see print options such as Quick Print, Print Preview, Print Setup.
	Undo U or Ctrl + Z	Undo the last action. Can also use the ‘U’ key or ‘Ctrl+Z’ on the keyboard.
	Redo R or Ctrl + Y	Redo the last undo action. Can also use the ‘R’ key or ‘Ctrl+Y’ on the keyboard.
	Options	Edit preferences such as default save location, ELV or Plan grid spacing, and ELV or Plan snap settings.
	Exit	Close the program.
	Recent Projects	A quick-list to access the most recently edited projects. If users moved the project since the last save, these quick links will no longer work.

ClosetCADPro has an auto-save feature in case of a crash. If CAD were to unexpectedly crash, the user can chose to restore the project upon opening. However, if the user selects NO, the progress on the project/design cannot be restored. Select YES to save, or CANCEL to return to the design.
