ClosetCADPro offers a variety of different storage options for wine, bottles or other creative storage needs.

Wine Rack (Wine X) + Wine Star

Wine Racks (often called a Wine X) and Wine Stars can be used to create a space for bottle storage or used in other creative applications.

One or both can be found in the Other pulldown in the ribbon toolbar.

Wine Racks are only available in either 18” x 18” and 24” x 24”. Wine Stars are only available in 24” x 24” and 30” x 30”. ClosetCadPro will not allow users to place either in a component that are outside of these widths and will show a width warning both before and after placement.

A fixed shelf is required above and below, and the program adds them automatically.

Neither part automatically accounts for suspension rails or brackets, so be mindful when adding them at the top of a component. A warning will appear if it interferes.

To satisfy the warning, it is suggested to add a faceplate so the wine rack sits below the suspension rail. Changing the depth so it sits away from the rail/wall may be an option, but is not ideal for storage. The best way to handle this is to discuss with a plan reviewer.

Part Properties

Both parts have very similar options in Properties [Part] but have slightly different part codes. Here, users can adjust the finish (both come in TFL colors), depth, and/or front and back offsets.

Wine & Spice Racks

Pull-out wine bottle and/or spice racks are a pull-out option that are added using the Basket tool. When adding, scroll the mouse wheel or use the up/down keyboard arrows to select WINE or SPICE from the options.

Remember that all baskets are only available in standard component widths. All other edits are done the same as as a basket.
