Flip Resource Groups & Employees in EMC & WMC

Process used to assign a different ERP employee to the users processing jobs through the XMC job completion dashboard (JCD) in the CC5 company.
We also assign a different employee to the BEAM SAW and EDGE BANDING resource groups in EMC and WMC sites.
The purpose is to make “every day a Monday” for purposes of creating labor detail records.
Typically, the Flip of Resource Groups & Employees are done at the end of the EMC workday. Anytime after 4:30pm (EST).
EMC/WMC Flip of Resource Groups
The examples in this process are for EMC but can be applied to WMC.
Navigate to the Resource Group setup.
Use the search dialogue box to bring in 2 resource groups (or do 1 at a time):
Beam Saw
Edge Bander
For each resource group, use the drop-down box to advance to the next day. (For example, at the end of the workday Wednesday, advance it to Thursday).
On Friday’s advance to Saturday
On Monday Morning advance from Saturday to Monday
Save your changes.
It may take a few minutes for the save to finish.
Flip Employees
Select 4 Employees to flip:
Brian Koryto | EMC-A | A is the primary person |
Mindee Bosworth | EMC-B | B is the backup person |
Tony Kellum | WMC-A |
|
Kristofer Halverson | WMC-B |
|
For each Employee, use the drop-down box to advance the Employee to the next day. (For example, at the end of the workday Wednesday, advance it to Thursday).
On Friday’s advance the Employee to Saturday
On Monday Morning advance from Saturday to Monday
Make sure you flip all 4 employees in Company CC5 only.
