Creating & Setting Up a New Scorecard

A scorecard “tab” should be set up in the Excel Workbook for each installer. Always leave a blank scorecard to allow for duplication.

For existing installers at the time of setting up scorecards, more columns can be completed compared to setting up a scorecard for a new installer. See additional notes throughout the process below mentioning existing installers.

To create a New Scorecard

  1. Follow the Microsoft Excel Basics to duplicate the blank scorecard tab Scorecard_Name.

  2. Rename the tab to include the installer’s name.

  1. Determine the certification method for each skill based on the installer’s current experience.

    1. If the installer has existing experience in the skill (ie. Considered 100% in the Training Actual column), they may follow the Expedited method at your discretion.

    2. If the installer has limited or no experience in the skill, they must follow the Standard method.
