This page explains the steps to take for installing a complex setup of LOOX5 lighting. This includes multiple drivers, distribution boxes, groups, and switches. Prior to beginning the installation, ensure you have completed all steps of installing the system skeleton. All top and bottom fixed shelves should be installed. There should be no backing pieces installed in the system at this time.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times when handling material and operating the power tools mentioned throughout this process. Review the PPE Matrix for further guidance.
Test the light functionality.
Plan your lighting setup.
If Backing is not split: Create access holes for backing pieces.
If Backing is split: Install each lit fixed shelf and allow leads to fall or pull them to their respective distribution box location.
Plug the leads into the ports of the distribution box.
If a Connect Mesh Network is to be setup: Follow the Connect Mesh User Guide.
If a wired switch is to be connected: Attach the switch lead to the distribution box and ensure the switch is functioning according to its abilities.
If one receiver is controlled by multiple switches, a multi-switch box is needed to connect the switches.
Attach the switch to the system in accordance with the system’s elevation.
If the customer has opted to control the lighting by their existing wall switch, test the switch to ensure it is controlling the driver's power.
Install all backing panels, and complete the remainder of the installation in accordance with the system’s elevation.

Inspect the installation and complete any touch ups if necessary.
If there are no more components to install, remove all stickers/labels.
